My Learning Goal: - By the end of 2022 I will have engaged in professional learning and collaborative planning and implemented Reciprocal Teaching into Guided Reading sessions. Professional Teaching Standards 6.2.2 Participate in learning to update knowledge and practice, targeted to professional needs and school and/or system priorities. 2.5.2 Apply knowledge and understanding of effective teaching strategies to support student's literacy achievement. Evidence: - PPT collaborative planning session focusing on Reciprocal teaching. My Performance Goal: - By the end of 2022 I will have completed the GEO1 course and implented some strategies learnt within the classroom. Evidence: -Undergoing course using CANVAS.

Performance and Growth 2021 My Learning Goal: By the end of 2021 I will: - Develop engaging teaching and learning experiences for students during Remote Learning. - Use Google Classrorom effectively to successfully communicate/interact with students during Remote Learning. - Utilise effective feedback during Remote Learning. Evidence: During Remote Learning: - All programs were modified to be better suited for students to work at home. - Lessons were thoughtfully planned and all KLA's were covered. - Grade team worked collaboratively to share resources and ensure class/grade needs were met. - Feedback from leadership was considered and changes made based on this. - Google Meets were run on a daily basis to interact with and teach students key content. - Google Meets were used for Guided Reading sessions with similar abilty students. My Performance Goal: By the end of 2021 I will: - By the end of 2021, I will have developed my Guided Reading practise utilising the Reading Progressions and data to inform my teaching. Evidence: - Engaged in professional conversations with the Leaders (Leaders of Learning) - Wrote and planned for Guided Reading Lessons - Read Professional Readings - The Reading Book (Sheena Cameron & Louise Dempsey, 2019)

Learning Goal: By the end of 2020 I will engage in professional learning and collaborate with the Literacy coach and grade teams to deepen my knowledge/skills in teaching Shared Reading focusing on GROR. I will also focus on embedding teaching of comprehension skills throughout all KLA's. Professional Learning - Term 1 -3 : met with the Literacy Team during PPT fortnightly during term 1. - Engaged in professional dialogue and reading. - Implemented Fountas and Pinell as a form of continuous reading assessment. - Provide students with Success Criteria for leanring that is then used for assessment. Performance Goal: By the end of 2020 I will have implemented better use of student/teacher feedback to make learning more visible in my classroom. - Use of Bump it up Wall. - Using learning intentions and success criteria more precisely to guide student learning. - Embedding learning dispositions into all aspects of learning: focus on drawing attention to these through all KLA's.
